Three18 exists for one purpose: to help ordinary Christians grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to His glory forever.

2 Peter 3:18 is a command with two halves. Grace and knowledge. We naturally find ourselves prone to one or the other. However, a complete Christian life involves growing both in knowledge and grace. These writings exist to promote both: wrestling with biblical truths and wrestling with our own personal struggles in Christ. Most of what shows up here started somewhere else: a sermon, a Sunday school lesson, or a conversation with a teenager who asked a better question than I was ready for. I write in my own pursuit of the stated purpose for myself.

I am Caleb Bauman, a youth pastor at a Southern Baptist Church in Central Oklahoma, and a student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
